Shade Garden

We all have a spot in our yard where things struggle to grow.  Often, the problem involves shade.  When you think about it -- given the importance of light in photosynthesis -- it's remarkable that any plants can grow in the shade at all!

But, a number of species of plants have evolved to tolerate -- and even prefer -- growing in part or full shade!
